BAND BIO

The Rose City Rockers is a 3-piece power trio in the vein of great 70’s bluesrock bands like Frank Marino, Humble Pie, Mountain, Steppenwolf, Robin Trower, Pat Travers and more.

The band was formed when guitarist JimmyG ran into drummer Joe Reaume at Average Joes after not seeing each other in over 15+ years. Both guys were former bandmates in popular 80’s band, The Fashion. Jimmy was looking for a drummer for the new project and asked Joe to join, which he did.

After numerous/disasterous bass player auditions, Jimmy struck up a Facebook conversation with former “Out of The Blue” guitarist, Michael Muscat discussing Phaez guitar amps. (Windsor guitar amp company)

Jimmy invited Michael over to play thru his Phaez “G’Licious” amp and found out that Mike played bass too.

An audition was held a few days later in Jimmy’s Indebasement Records recording studio and by the first chorus of the first song, all 3 guys knew they found a magical musician combination.

Rehearsals began in March and the band played their first show to a packed house April 27th at The Lions Head Tavern.

Since then, the band placed second at the Southwest Blues Competition, has played festivals such as The Leamington 150 Fest, Beats For Eats Festival, BBQ & Blues Fest, Ronald McDonald House concert, various bike night concerts and shows at various venues across S. Western Ontario.

Also, the band is now recording their new album, BluesRock REvolution at Indebasement Records in Windsor.
It’s planned to be released in 2025 with their first single, “Going Down To Memphis” due for release in February.
